As I meditated earlier this weekend the following inspired thoughts came into my mind – I hope you enjoy it too:-
Time is so important. Time to share, care and love is needed so very much. We all rush around thinking we’re doing what we need to but are we really doing the right thing? In time to come, maybe years maybe days, we will look back and reflect on our lives and no-one will ever wish that they had a better job or promotion. Time and relationships is what is dwelt upon. Time is finite, health is limited. It’s just as well that no-one knows what’s around the corner. But what we must do is enjoy each and every moment with those loved ones around us. Focus on building relationships and friendships around you which are positive, enlightening and genuine. Show compassion to all of those around you, help where you can and you will be helped in return in due course. Love and be loved. Nurture and you will be nurtured. Be responsible for responsibility gives you self worth. Above all be humane for being humane to others ensures that the world is a better place upon which to live.

As I meditated today I had the following inspired thoughts which I hope that you can also relate to:-
We all have needs, we all have wants, but are they really necessary? In life our true needs are simple – we need love, food, water and shelter. But anything else is not needed. How much stuff do we accumulate before we realise this? When it’s too late? When we have spoiled our chances or opportunities and ruined friendships or relationships because of envy or jealousy of their stuff. We all have a finite time on this planet. Let’s use is wisely. Make a difference. We all have a purpose in our life even though we may not find it for a long time. Keep seeking within and you will find. For we are our own doctor – we need to look after our own mind, body and spirit. It is our responsibility to oneself…to our higher self. We might not understand this now and perhaps not even in this lifetime but it is important as we progress into our next life should we decide to start another journey. The choice is ours as it is in our current life. So go forward living the life that you wish to lead…but hopefully with less stuff focusing on things that really matter.
If you enjoyed this please like and share so that others can too.

Today I attended the Newport Holism Centre’s Mind, Body and Spirit event (held in Langstone Village Hall) where I gave a presentation on how to help people sleep more effectively. It is shocking to think that the World Health Organisation has actually declared a “sleep loss epidemic” in developed nations as a result of two thirds of adults failing to get the recommended 8 hours sleep per night. This has detrimentally and significantly impacted upon both physical and mental wellbeing of people and unless individuals, education systems, employers and government policy take responsibility and make changes to allow people to work flexibly to enable them to learn/work at the optimum time for them the trend is likely to continue to worsen.
I was also absolutely delighted to share with the group a reading which was given specifically to me yesterday to share with the group by one of my spiritual guides:
Dreams
In our dream state we do so much – as well as restoring our bodies to optimum health we focus on what we need and want in our life. Our emotions come flooding through in our dreams which are often confusing to us at the time, but with the benefit of hindsight, they always make sense. Take control of your lives, achieve what you want and need but above all remain true to your personal values. Wealth has no use if you don’t have your health. Counting pennies will not create memories. Do things that will make you smile and laugh when you look back and reflect. Create circles around you that are filled with love, trust and genuine friendship. Dispense with falseness and things or people who do not impact upon your life positively for they are simply unwanted baggage. Love as much as you can, live within your means and cherish everything around you.
If you would like to benefit from a relaxing group meditation followed by spiritual or crystal healing why not join us on any Tuesday evening at the Newport Holism Centre (based in the Langstone Village Hall, Old Chepstow Road, Langstone, NP18 2ND) from 7pm till 9.30pm. Alternatively if you would prefer a one-to-one Spiritual Healing/Hypnotherapy/Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) session I would be delighted to help you. Please see my website for further details or contact me.

Further evidence that hypnosis actually works is available from Stanford University which is one of the world’s leading teaching and research institutions. Dr David Spiegal (Psychiatrist, Medical Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine) led the research and his conclusions included ‘There is scientific evidence that something happens in the brain when people are hypnotised that doesn’t happen ordinarily.’ Furthermore he stated that there were ‘tremendous medical implications’ and envisaged people being able to manage their own pain and anxiety.

Hopefully this will encourage more people to try this completely natural and powerful therapy. If what you have tried to date has not resolved your issues why not try something different and give hypnotherapy a go – you might just be delighted with the results!

As I meditated last night I had the following inspiring thoughts. I hope you can take something from it too:-
Time is like a journey. It has no beginning and no end. We like to think of life as being straight forward – we set ourselves a goal, achieve it then make another which we strive to achieve. However, that is too superficial, way too superficial in fact. Time is endless as is our journey. Life perpetuates as does time. As we progress through life we get older and wiser but even then there is so much more to learn. Lifetimes in fact. If we do not learn our lessons in this lifetime then our lessons continue into the next lifetime and the journey ensues again. Forever more we will learn lessons in one way or another. For that is our purpose and our journey. As I sit and write this now I am a monk (named Benjamin) but in just a thought I will be in another of my lifetimes where I led a very different life but needless to say led a different life but learned different lessons too. No one life is better than another – they are simply different. But together, combined they form a being that is so highly evolved as a result of the learning, understandings, mistakes and lots of other facets too. Be more aware of your position, your contribution and your worth. For you must value what you do in this lifetime in order to continue your onward journey of learning in due course. Do not fear, there is nothing to be worried about. Love is all around you if you look. Measure love by what really matters – not material items but in kindness – kind words and gestures mean so much more. Honesty is always the best policy. Be open and honest in all of your dealings whether it be personal or work related and you will not go far wrong. Think of your snake like road of a journey and embrace every curve. For they are there for a reason. Take time, stop, reflect and ask yourself if this is right for you. If not reevaluate the options and take whichever road/route you are drawn too. For only you truly know what you need to do so listen to your inner compass, disregard material possessions or wealth potential and do the right thing for you.
Dorothy walked along the yellow brick road. Now it’s your turn so do it wisely, confidently, carefully and cheerily.
1 2 3 4 5 once I caught a fish alive 6 7 8 9 10 then I let it go again. Don’t let go of what your heart desires for it desires it for a reason.

As I meditated earlier today I had the following inspiring thoughts. I hope you can take something from it too:-
We all get frustrated. We all get annoyed. But it’s how we respond and deal with it is the issue. Hate can be fueled so easily and readily. Or we can choose to take a step back, review, reflect and take the most appropriate action. Frustration causes chaos, chaos causes misunderstanding. Misunderstanding causes a build up of emotions which are not necessarily understood and then action is taken. Take a step back and watch yourself dealing with emotional situations. You will surprise yourself I’m sure. We have control. We control our thoughts, our feelings and our emotions. But all too often we allow them to rule us – running all over us in fact. By realising that we are in control of our thoughts, thoughts are just thoughts – we do not have to act on any of them. We would make better, calmer and more logical choices which would be better for us in line with our true personal values. For we only have one life to live so lets use the time that we have wisely and make the most of everyday that we are blessed to get and see.

As I meditated earlier today the following inspirational thoughts came into my mind. I hope that you can take something from it:
Compassion is in our hearts and we should make room for it. Compassion is in our soul if we allow it. Compassion is all around us should we take the time to look for it. For we all have responsibility in our lives to show compassion and help those in need. But we are all busy focussing on acquiring material wealth rather than helping those around us in need. Real satisfaction comes from within us. Pennies are useless in heaven. Spend time with people, listen attentively and sincerely for this is what actually makes a difference. No one will remember you for your business acumen when you are dead they will remember what kind of person that you were. What would you like to be described as – financially astute or kind, generous and hard working? Your future is your path. You can make changes. Every step in the right direction is testament to that. Love your neighbour for you may need a friend, love your enemy for you don’t know what path they are treading. Above all love yourself for if you can’t how can anyone else love you?
