As I meditated earlier today I had the following inspiring thoughts. I hope you can take something from it too:-
We all get frustrated. We all get annoyed. But it’s how we respond and deal with it is the issue. Hate can be fueled so easily and readily. Or we can choose to take a step back, review, reflect and take the most appropriate action. Frustration causes chaos, chaos causes misunderstanding. Misunderstanding causes a build up of emotions which are not necessarily understood and then action is taken. Take a step back and watch yourself dealing with emotional situations. You will surprise yourself I’m sure. We have control. We control our thoughts, our feelings and our emotions. But all too often we allow them to rule us – running all over us in fact. By realising that we are in control of our thoughts, thoughts are just thoughts – we do not have to act on any of them. We would make better, calmer and more logical choices which would be better for us in line with our true personal values. For we only have one life to live so lets use the time that we have wisely and make the most of everyday that we are blessed to get and see.

As I meditated earlier this week the following inspirational thoughts came into my mind. I hope that you can take something from it:
When sound is all around us we focus on the song, the melody. But when the sound breaks down into component parts we listen attentively and really focus on the music. Like life, when we look at our whole life it seems drawn out and sometimes hard to comprehend. But when broken down into smaller chunks it’s more manageable to cope with. We need to stop worrying about the future as there are too many variables that you have no control over. Focus on the things which you can control for time is short and the years go by without you realising. What can you control I hear you say. Every choice that you make has implications…implications on your personal goals, aspirations and your family to name just a few. Spend time wisely doing things that you love. For if you are lucky you can do those things for a long time. Get involved in giving and helping others. For this is where you will gain great satisfaction. Gaining material things only gives short term pleasure whereas giving time to others is far more valuable. We, mankind, have the capacity to do so much to help each other should we choose to do so. Money and greed are at the heart of all wars. Compassion is needed at this time. In order to make this much needed change in the world people must come together in solidarity. The time is coming for major change to take place. You can be part of the change and take great pride in it or you can sit back, count your pennies and focus on your own materialistic goals. As Steve Jobs recently realised all the money in the world cannot buy you health or happiness. Do something now…make the most of what you have and help wherever you can. For this is what will give you true contentment. This is what your soul desires and craves for. Whether you want to be a ballerina, bricklayer, banker or bin man bide your time, focus on your goals but above all be the person that you want to be. Like yourself, love yourself and nurture yourself in order that you can love and care for others that are around you.
