As I meditated earlier today I had the following inspiring thoughts. I hope you can take something from it too:-
We all get frustrated. We all get annoyed. But it’s how we respond and deal with it is the issue. Hate can be fueled so easily and readily. Or we can choose to take a step back, review, reflect and take the most appropriate action. Frustration causes chaos, chaos causes misunderstanding. Misunderstanding causes a build up of emotions which are not necessarily understood and then action is taken. Take a step back and watch yourself dealing with emotional situations. You will surprise yourself I’m sure. We have control. We control our thoughts, our feelings and our emotions. But all too often we allow them to rule us – running all over us in fact. By realising that we are in control of our thoughts, thoughts are just thoughts – we do not have to act on any of them. We would make better, calmer and more logical choices which would be better for us in line with our true personal values. For we only have one life to live so lets use the time that we have wisely and make the most of everyday that we are blessed to get and see.

As I meditated earlier today the following inspiring words came into my mind. I hope you can take something from it too:-
Love is all around us if we take the time to look – the trees, the birds that flutter around and in all the acts of kindness that are undertaken. As we take time to reflect on days such as snow days we should give thanks for all that we have in our lives. It’s hard sometimes when our minds are trapped in our busy lives and materialistic world. But sometimes we need something to happen in our life to stop, take stock and evaluate what’s really important in our lives. Are we truly achieving our life purpose or are we simply going along achieving the next empty and meaningless goal? As I sit, write and look at the beautiful oaks through my window I am in awe of them. So majestic and drawing of all my attention and energy. I could rush around the house cleaning and tidying or I can sit, watch and truly enjoy the beautiful view for a while. My soul needs the latter. I know the change in my life that is imminent and now is the time for me to take stock, show gratitude for all that I have and all that I will have in my life. Perhaps you can also take stock, evaluate your life purpose and consider your personal values – what they mean to you and how you can achieve them. Meanwhile as you look out at the snow take note of just how beautiful it is, and when your brave enough to venture out feel the coldness against your face, feel the crunching of snow underfoot, watch the beautiful birds as they search for food and monitor the changing landscape for soon the thaw will come and you will have a choice – you can resume as before or you can make some changes that you know will benefit you and others. So be bold, make some changes, as there is no time like the present. Please share this with your friends and if your not already a Facebook friend just like my page and I will be happy to share more with you in due course.
