Empowering you to become healthier and happier
Empowering you to become healthier and happier

I was delighted to win the Holistic Treatment Award again at the V Awards held at The Neon last Sunday evening. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me – your support is very much appreciated. Together we are continuing to increase awareness of the many benefits that both Hypnotherapy and Healing can bring to others. Over 35,000 votes were cast across all categories and it is fabulous to see so much participation recognising services of local businesses. All proceeds from the event were given to St David’s Hospice to help them continue with their wonderful work.

As I meditated today these inspired thoughts came into my mind…I hope you benefit from them too:
At this time of year we often feel low in our mood as Autumn approaches, the temperature lowers, sunshine decreases and autumnal leaves appear. It is normal for us to prepare for the winter months that lay ahead. Start to feed ourselves with hearty filling foods to fend off colds and to allow our bodies the best chance of surviving the hardest season of the year. Whilst times may well have changed over the years our bodies are effectively the same.
We have the same primary purpose…to survive. As Mental Health Awareness Day takes place today perhaps you can reflect on both your own and others well-being – all those around you (family, friends, colleagues, neighbours). We all face challenges, hardships and losses etc.. But together, by nurturing and providing support we can overcome the worst of those. Unity is so important. Helping each other whether it is a kind word, deed or action. By helping each other we feel good about ourselves and our kind deed will often set off a chain reaction of kindness.
So as you start to prepare yourself for Winter (mind and body) remember to be kind to both yourself and others, be grateful for everything that you have in your life and have hope that you will be able to enjoy tomorrow. Focus on spending as much time as possible enjoying the present moment as tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Sprouts should only be here at Christmas and daffodils should only be here in Spring. Everything has a reason. Everything has a purpose. Believe it. Know it. Trust it. Live it.
I hope that you have enjoyed reading this. Please like and share so that others can too.

As I meditated these inspiring thoughts came into my mind…I hope you benefit from them too: None of us like uncertainty. It makes us feel vulnerable, at risk, uneasy. But uncertainty is necessary as we are unable to control most things in our life. Despite wishing to have control we are unable to – just how much control do you have in your life? Can you control what time you get out of bed, what time you go to work, what time you shop, undertake activities etc.? Most of us have our timescales mapped out for us. So effectively all we can control are elements around these structures, work patterns etc..
By staying or sitting in the present moment (whether you are preparing or enjoying drinks/meals, watching and listening to nature (maybe going for a walk or simply sitting in your garden), completing a task, having a conversation or undertaking a hobby) you can allow yourself to be at peace with yourself. Completely calm and focussed on what you are doing. Allowing your mind and body to be in synch. Healing and re-energising on every level – physical, emotional and spiritual.
In these uncertain times we all need to take action to help one another. By joining in solidarity we can support, encourage, nurture and love one another. Spreading the love reduces uncertainty. Being there for one another is priceless. We all need material stuff on a basic level but most have too much and this materialistic focus distracts us. Let’s get back to our true roots which is loving each other.

As I meditated these inspiring thoughts came into my mind…I hope you benefit from them too:
Forgiveness is difficult. It can be overwhelming, all consuming and on occasions unbearable. But, it has to be let go to avoid it being detrimental to your own well-being. It can eat you up but only if you allow it to. The best course of action is to let it go. We all have our own journey and we all have to learn from mistakes. Focus on what you can do and what you can control for that is all you can do. Enjoy your life, aspire to be the best you can be and make the most of each and every second for tomorrow is not guaranteed. Keep friends close and enemies closer they say but why keep toxic people in your life? Be bold, be brave, do what is right for you. Surround yourselves with people who are positive, loving and caring for they are the ones that can truly contribute to your life. Do not feel guilty cutting out negative or even harmful people because you do not need them or want them. Love is all consuming, overwhelming and what is needed in this world. Love with all your heart, live with all your might and be true to yourself.

The Healing Weekend is taking place in Highbridge, Somerset from Friday 12th July to Sunday 14th July. This year I will be giving Healing at the Newport Holism Centre stand with other fellow volunteers from the centre. It really is the highlight of the year in terms of spiritual and healing events. This is the 10th year that I have attended this event!
Healing sessions will be available throughout the day on a donation basis. I will be working several hours each day and also recharging my batteries, going to various workshops and experiencing some complementary therapies personally. Why not come and join us – relax, recharge and restore your energy with wonderful universal healing energy. Please share with others who may also be interested.

As I meditated these inspiring thoughts came to my mind…I hope you benefit from them too:
Life is precious and so are we. We worry sometimes about the small things in life when we should focus on the bigger things. Perspective is so important. But so easily perspective is lost. Easter is a time of reflection. A time of renewed growth and spiritual awareness. Enjoy the eggs of course but take time to take stock of your life, evaluate your purpose, meaning and intent and strive to make changes in your world that will benefit many others too. For we all know that we can do so much more to help others around us. Forgiveness is needed all around the world. By forgiving we are able to move forward and repair the damage created by man. Make changes now and you can be part of global change to make the world a better place. Every small action has a much bigger consequence. Be bold, be decisive and be the one that can start and maintain the wheel of change get in motion. We all have our part to play.

As I meditated these inspiring thoughts came to my mind…I hope you benefit from them too:
Life is to be enjoyed…each and every day. Each moment on this earth is precious. Take nothing for granted as tomorrow is not guaranteed. Fill every moment with a memory, laughter or an impression which will last. For those things will live on…far longer than any material possession. Take your time there is no hurry. Be patient, be kind, be understanding. For it is these actions that will set a chain reaction of similar acts and these will go on and on and on. Life is not easy at times, it is not meant to be. But some peoples challenges are indeed much greater than others. Together we can do so much to ease suffering. It can seem too overwhelming to work out solutions but one person at a time, and one act at a time can set the chain going to make lasting change. Go forth, listening to your heart and make a difference to someone today for you will feel so good for doing so.
