Life is so very complex – full of twists and turns. We often have to expect the unexpected. When things do not happen as we expect it is unnerving. But we must remember that everything happens for a reason as uneasy as this may make us feel on occasions. Hold tight and enjoy the ride some may say. It is certainly easier for some to do compared to others. For each ride, each bump and each journey is so so very different and the more bumps encountered the more unlikely the person is going to be able to confidently and calmly get onto the next train.
So where are you on your train of life? Are the bumps too traumatic for you to want to e on your next train?
Whilst it may seem hard to make the decision you have to remember that you are in control. You have the power and the ability within you to steer your life in the direction that you both want and need.
What is holding me back I hear you say and I have to reply it is only you. No-one else. We can apportion blame to others but we and only we are responsible for ourselves. So perhaps you can think about what is holding you back and you can consider how to release yourself from the walls which you have surrounded yourself with to help you achieve the life that you set out to achieve.

We all need a tonic in our life. That tonic may be laughter, it may be love or it may be something else. Whatever it is it is important for it helps us to renew and replenish our energy, to give us some time to focus or refocus and helps us to energise both our physical and our spiritual being. Each and every day we need a tonic. As we wake up we need to reflect upon our needs of the day. We need to ensure that our energy level matches it and there are times when indeed we need a tonic. We need a pick me up and we can do this in so many ways. Each and every one of us are so different. We are all unique. But we all have needs and these needs need to be met and in order to meet these needs we need to go inward. We need to go inward to reflect, evaluate and reassess what our needs are.
I’m not talking about commitments now I’m talking about an inner need, to look into our soul and when we look into our soul and look at what our soul needs, we are able to take action, we are able to make decisions to do things that really fit in with our lives, with our goals, with our life purpose if you like. Not everyone can be at the top of the game and that does not matter. What matters is your contribution. That you feel that you have done the right thing for you. That you have contributed and you have achieved.
Love and kindness go such a long way as does compassion and virtue. Solidarity is such an important factor. When we show solidarity to each other and to causes it helps to bind us together as a community, as a nation and as a family. So perhaps today you can reflect on what’s really important to you.

Life at times can be like a fence. It can be dull and quite boring or it can be very elaborate, ornate even. It depends upon the purpose that is to be served. At times we simply need reliable and sturdy fencing to protect us from harm and to give us peace that we need and at other times we are happy to be exposed so that we can be more extravagant just like a peacock showing its feathers.
Most of the time we need the dull boring side so that we can relax, recharge our batteries and have time to contemplate the meaning of life. It is simply a matter of choice. As you consider what kind of fence that you would like to surround yourself with now I am sure that you will agree that it depends upon the mood at the time of asking.
Each one of us varies from moment to moment. No two moments are the same as we are different. Each of us are unique and each second is unique. If we were to look at ourselves in the mirror now and again in a moment again we would never capture the same image. For so many things have changed. Our thought process will differ, our feelings will have fluctuated and our emotions will have varied too. There is no one right way to feel at any time. Each and every person should embrace what they feel at any given moment. Whether that is love, pain, suffering or anything else. We have that for a reason.
Life is indeed a painful lesson to be learnt. We will love and we will lose and that is indeed a very large loss to bear. But it is all temporary. In the grand scheme of things we are able to reconcile with those who depart and we are able to make amends for any decisions that we find to be wrong in due course. Again it comes back to the circle of life. Everything goes around and comes back in due course. Go forth making your decisions and allow your inner compass to guide you for that is the best source of truth that you can use in any situation. Love and you will be loved, be kind and you will receive kindness etc..

Sometimes life gives us lemons and it is up to us what we make with it. We can suck on it and have that bitter taste should we wish or we can make lemonade which is far more palatable for most people. The choice is ours. We all have choices. We all have the ability to make decisions, to improve our own lives. We should not be controlled by the masses for we all have our own thoughts, we are all capable of making our own mind up, being well informed of course.
So why is it that a few think that they can control so many? There is indeed a hidden agenda although it is becoming more and more apparent and the only way that it will become even more apparent is for people to stand up for what they believe in. In the current situation (lockdown again) it is very difficult given that people are not allowed to demonstrate. How else can you get your point across effectively? By being patient is the answer. We have to let events occur as they are intended but we will then have the ability to make choices and our choices are simply that – they are our choices regardless of what the choices maybe. Each and every person has the ability to make their own mind up once they are aware of all the facts that is. Each and every day by maintaining a sense of calmness and peace you will allow yourself to absorb the information and to listen to your intuition which will tell you what the right course is for you and your family. At that point you are able to make your decisions easily and effortlessly – no worries, no frustration, no anger, simply able to gather the facts and make your mind up based on those facts.
I’m thinking about an ice-cream now and as this ice-cream is given to me it is very firm but in next to no time it’s running down the cornet. I feel like it’s out of control. Very swiftly I’m able to lick the ice-cream and put it back into shape and it’s no different with our lives. We feel like things are running away with us but very often in just one or two small actions we are able to make changes. We are then able to put even more on our ice-cream should we wish to whether that be chocolate, strawberry sauce or anything else. We are able to embrace exactly what we feel that we need, what we would benefit from. With each and every decision that we make we have our thoughts, we have our own ability to digest information, we have our own intuition to guide us, we have our own voice to express ourselves and that is what is needed and wanted at this moment in time.

Sometimes in life pathways are straight and other times they can be quite tangential. Nothing is generally straight forward in life. There are very often tosses and turns on our pathway and we have to be able to adapt for it is that resilience that helps us to achieve our purpose.
We learn lots of skills as we go through life and lots of these skills are adaptable and help us to be able to put all of our efforts and passion into what we are really meant to do.
Some people are lucky and know their passion early on but for others they have to wait and it really doesn’t matter when you find your purpose whether early or late. The key issue is that you have found your purpose and once you have found it you can embrace it and move forward with confidence, dedication and determination.
There is no point getting stuck in the past because the past only drags you backwards. You need to look forward, you need to look forward and adapt, create new opportunities for yourself and allow opportunities to present too. When you focus on what you want and need to do you love what you are doing. Money is almost irrelevant. You need enough to live of course but when you are doing work because you love it it is not a job.
We will help to guide, inspire and motivate you but above all you need to be able to implement the changes. You need to have an open heart and open mind to allow the changes to take place and I know that this can be difficult but the only constant is change and you know in your heart of hearts when the decision is right for you.
When you listen to your heart, your mind will follow effortlessly and easily and you will know that it is right.
I am now seeing a chimney and I’m thinking about the warmth a chimney provides within the home – cosiness, a sense of comfort and warmth. We have to let out a lot of the hot air in life whether that is from people or a chimney and when we let out the hot air we are able to allow things to be more calm and rested inside.

The world is full of tunnels. Tunnels through mountains, tunnels under the ground and without tunnels we would be so restricted. With tunnels we are able to move so much freer and easier. But sometimes being too mobile isn’t a good thing because when we are too mobile we spread ourselves too thinly, we don’t develop relationships that are close and meaningful always.
So perhaps now is the time to embrace those that are closer to you to develop relationships that are much closer to home. For we only truly connect when we invest in time and it has to be quality time.
“If only we have time” so many people say. But you are able to make the time should you wish too prioritising what is really important to you in line with your own personal values.
Everyone has the ability to develop and create a life that is meaningful. Everyone has the ability to create a life that is happier for them. Indeed there are circumstances but circumstances and hurdles can be overcome. We don’t have to suffer needlessly. We can reach out and get help from those around us – those that are nearest and dearest to us. There is so much support available if you look around. But sometimes we are too focussed looking inwards or perhaps focussing on what we don’t have that we don’t see what we do have and we do have the strengths within us to overcome whatever we want or need to.
We have that resilience, that inner confidence, that inner belief in ourselves and sometimes it gets suppressed for a variety of reasons but that can just as easily be obtained and it can be obtained then nurtured to enable you to make those steps you want in the right direction to achieve the life that you want and that you deserve.
So what is stopping you now from achieving the life that you want and the life that you deserve? Step out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, love yourself and believe in yourself so that you too can this make this world a better place one step and one day at a time.

Life can be like a plate of beans. When you first look at it all you see is a plate of beans in various sizes sometimes covered in tomato sauce or sometimes drowning in sauce. Sometimes we need to wash off the sauce so that we can see the genuine beans for what they really are and this is no different in life. We are all different, we are all unique, we all have life experiences that make us unique. However, sometimes expectations are forced upon us to think, behave or to feel a certain way but this is wrong because we are all different.
We all come to this earth to learn lessons that have already been decided upon before we come to the earth plane. We then have experiences through life, we have traumas, we have joys and it is how we deal with these things that make us truly different. What can make one person sink can make another person swim miles upon miles to reach the shore. Nobody should be expected to behave in a certain way just because others have. There are always underlying reasons but we do not necessarily understand them and we will never understand them because we are not supposed to.
Each and every day we should reflect upon our life, we should think about the things that are important to us – our values if you like and only by tuning in to what we want as people, what we need, as true unique individuals will we be able to go out and make a huge contribution to the world. Not everybody is able to go out and do things on a grand scale and they are not meant to. Sometimes it’s the smallest things in life that really do matter and really do help. So whatever you are doing perhaps you can take some time to think about why you are doing it, what value is it to you, what value is it to somebody else and what can you also do, listening to your heart, to help you to move forward, to create a life for you that is more meaningful, more valued and more rewarding.
Now I’m visualising a star in the sky, a lone star that is shining bright. We all need to reach for the stars with our goals, we may never reach that star, but it is the journey that we must enjoy. Because like everything else in life once you achieve a goal it is achieved. But it is all the struggle, the hard work, determination and resilience that helps you in pursuit of that goal, that is what shows your strengths as a person. We need to keep focussed on our journey, enjoying our journey, being kind to ourselves as we progress along our journey, finding the inner strength that we have within us to help us along the way.

Horses come and go – slow and fast. Just like life we can live in the slow lane if we choose or we can gallop very fast. The choice is down to us. No one has the right to impose feelings of speed upon us because we have our own clock. We have our own choice, our own ability to do what we feel is right for us. Time is different for everybody. No two people have exactly the same amount of time on the earth plane. And it is partly for that reason that some people decide to live more in the fast line, to cram as much as they can in, because inwardly they realise that they do not have as long on this planet. Whereas some other people who live life at a far more slow pace inwardly know they can do so as they have longer. And whether that is a conscious choice or not it is their choice. There is no wrong and there is no right. We all have the ability to make the decision that is right for us and we need to listen to our bodies because our bodies tell us what we need to know.
Each and every day we make decisions and we look inwardly and decide if those decisions are right for us. Sometimes we know that they are not right for us but we do it anyway. Whether that is for financial gain, or to keep other people happy or for any other reason and it really does not matter. But what I am asking you to think about and consider is what is right for you because you are responsible for your life. Nobody else has responsibility for your life so it is down to you what you do, the decisions that you make, the choices that you make are all your responsibility and all too often it is easy for people to hand over their responsibility for their decisions to other people and to apportion blame even. But that really isn’t what is needed in this world.
We all have to take responsibility for our choices, for our actions and only by taking responsibility for our actions will we be able to make better choices collectively. Because collectively we know the world needs everybody to pull together, to look at the causes of the issues and to look at what is needed for our world to become a better place. And for our world to become a better place each and every person has to take their sense of responsibility seriously and by doing that, collectively, each village, each town, each city is able to make differences and when cities make differences countries make differences and when countries make differences the whole world can become a much different and better place to live. Just like grains of sand one grain of sand on its own cannot make a beach but collectively they can make a beach.
So I’m asking you now to consider your life, your actions, your consequences and most importantly your responsibilities to yourself. Do you accept responsibilities for the decisions you’ve made, the actions you have carried out or do you try to pass the blame to someone else, abstaining from your responsibility at any given cost? And as you contemplate your actions, your feelings, your behaviours with regard to responsibility maybe you can think about the entire world and what you would like to do – what responsibilities you would like to contribute towards to help our world become a better and much brighter place.

Life is like a jug of vinegar. On the outside it is nice to touch, nice to look at, but sometimes inside the vinegar can be much sharper than you expect. It can be great if you like vinegar on your fish and chips but we don’t always like to have vinegar splashed all over our food and life is very much like a jug of vinegar. Each and every day we have different things thrown at us. Each and every day we have moments that are sweet, pleasant and cherished. Then there are other moments that are much sharper and much harder to bear. The very nature of life is that we do not know what is coming. There is uncertainty all around us and we desperately try to cling to a little bit of control and a little bit of certainty to keep us focussed and thinking as positively as we can.
But sometimes we are thrown off track for a reason and that reason might not always sit comfortably with us at the time. That reason might be something that we have no comprehension about at this moment in time. Perhaps we have made decisions and we are on the wrong path but we do not realise it. Perhaps we are seeking things that are monetary based rather than what is inside our hearts and life has a habit sometimes of knocking us off the path that we have set for ourselves. Because when we come to this earth plane we all have a purpose, we all have a purpose that we need to achieve in terms of life goals and our life goals are there for a reason. They are there for us to be able to develop oneself throughout our lifetime and in subsequent lifetimes we will be able to develop those as well as other skills that we need to and it is all part of our development.
Our development as souls through the lifetimes and this is exactly what is happening at this moment in time. So many people are on the wrong pathway. So many people are making decisions that are simply not right for us and not right for our planet and everyone has to be taken off their current pathway to reconsider, re-evaluate what is important in life in order that some can go onto new pathways, others can return on their existing pathway. Whilst to many this may seem futile in the overall grand scheme of things, looking at the entire world, it is so important because we want to be able to live our life knowing that we can hand down things to our children, grandchildren and so forth. If the world continues exactly as it is the world will not be a very nice place at all.
There will always be challenges, there will always be opportunities, there will always be risks, but collectively working together, united, we can do so much more. So perhaps today you can reflect about what you are doing, at this moment in time, on your current pathway. Is it what your heart desires? Are you doing what you feel is your calling? Have you made decisions that were wrong and more importantly what can you do about it now to make those changes? What can you do moving forward for the rest of your life to help both those around you and to help the planet? Think of your family to come, think of the generations and how life could be in a world where everyone supported each other, in a world where everyone appreciated each other and in a world where everybody respected each other. For it is not your salary that counts it is how you are as a person.

As I meditated these inspiring thoughts came to my mind…I hope you benefit from them too:
Life is precious and so are we. We worry sometimes about the small things in life when we should focus on the bigger things. Perspective is so important. But so easily perspective is lost. Easter is a time of reflection. A time of renewed growth and spiritual awareness. Enjoy the eggs of course but take time to take stock of your life, evaluate your purpose, meaning and intent and strive to make changes in your world that will benefit many others too. For we all know that we can do so much more to help others around us. Forgiveness is needed all around the world. By forgiving we are able to move forward and repair the damage created by man. Make changes now and you can be part of global change to make the world a better place. Every small action has a much bigger consequence. Be bold, be decisive and be the one that can start and maintain the wheel of change get in motion. We all have our part to play.
