During meditation the following inspired thoughts came into my mind: Angels are a blessing – they are a gift from heaven. They come in many forms. Some are down here already in the form of people doing jobs that help others, inspiring others, and loving others. Love is all around us if we choose to look. Sometimes we get so immersed it is difficult to see the wood through the trees let alone angels. But it is there for us to see should we choose too.
Perfection is non existent. Life is a journey – ups and downs, twists and turns and we must expect this to be the case. Otherwise we are always heading for falls. Sometimes life seems unfair, sometimes very unfair but there are usually reasons for everything but we are not meant to understand them…not in this lifetime anyway. Yesterday has gone and tomorrow is never guaranteed but we can enjoy today – the present moment that we are in. We can indulge our senses with everything around us (e.g. smell, sight, taste, touch and hearing). By focusing on these things we can lose ourselves in the moment, just be, calm and peaceful, reconnecting with our surroundings and simply be ourselves.
Try this more often and you will be surprised by its effectiveness. Simple yes but so effective…yes. Take control of your boat and steer it in the direction which you would like to go and listen to what your heart tells you and you will not go far wrong.

Songs of all kinds are so spiritual. Whether listening to beautiful and gentle bird song, melodies, jazz or any genre in fact the music connects you like nothing else can. The words hook you indeed but the music captivates you, drawing you into another world almost another dimension. We should all incorporate more music into our daily lives. We should feel the music, the vibration, the energy. We need to feed our souls. Tapping into this creative side of our body allows us to really connect with oneself. We all need time to think, reflect, evaluate and music takes us to a wonderful place where we can do so.

As I meditated today I had the following inspired thoughts which I hope that you can also relate to:-
We all have needs, we all have wants, but are they really necessary? In life our true needs are simple – we need love, food, water and shelter. But anything else is not needed. How much stuff do we accumulate before we realise this? When it’s too late? When we have spoiled our chances or opportunities and ruined friendships or relationships because of envy or jealousy of their stuff. We all have a finite time on this planet. Let’s use is wisely. Make a difference. We all have a purpose in our life even though we may not find it for a long time. Keep seeking within and you will find. For we are our own doctor – we need to look after our own mind, body and spirit. It is our responsibility to oneself…to our higher self. We might not understand this now and perhaps not even in this lifetime but it is important as we progress into our next life should we decide to start another journey. The choice is ours as it is in our current life. So go forward living the life that you wish to lead…but hopefully with less stuff focusing on things that really matter.
