As part of Mental Health Awareness Week today I gave a presentation to Companies House staff on the powerful benefits to your body of sleeping better in order to live longer. This included a relaxing hypnotherapy session.
Many people underestimate the power of sleep. Did you know that sleeping less than 6-7 hours per night:-
demolishes your immune system and more than doubles your risk of cancer
increases the risk of you developing Alzeimer’s disease
increases the risk of heart failure and stroke
contributes to all major psychiatric conditions (including anxiety, depression and suicide).
