Empowering you to become healthier and happier
Empowering you to become healthier and happier

Today, one of my lovely clients, Franky, shared their incredible vision board with me — and it was such an inspiring example of what happens when we bring our dreams to life visually that I wanted to share it with you (with her permission of course). Franky’s board wasn’t just pictures on paper, it was a heartfelt reflection of goals, hopes, and the kind of life she is consciously creating.
Vision boards don’t have to be elaborate — they can be a simple collage of words, photos, or affirmations which holds great power. Personally I have a cork display board which I add to often as things change and opportunities present themselves. Other people like to keep theirs in a notebook. What matters most is the energy and intention behind it. When we look at our goals regularly, we begin to align our thoughts, emotions, and actions with them.
Remember the most powerful times to focus on your board are:
🌅 First thing in the morning — those first 15 minutes after awakening, when your mind is most open and receptive.
🌙 Last thing at night — as you drift into sleep, your subconscious continues to work on what you’ve just focused upon.
In my therapy sessions, I often use the power of imagination to help clients connect deeply with their goals. The mind doesn’t distinguish between vividly imagined experiences and real ones — so every time you visualise, you’re programming your subconscious for success.
So why wait until the New Year to set your intentions? 🍁
Use these cosy autumnal nights to light a candle, gather some magazines or images, and begin crafting your vision board. Every small step you take now moves you closer to the life you desire.
Start creating change now — and each day, take one inspired action towards your vision.
If you would like help – whether getting rid of overwhelm, removing anxious thoughts, overcoming a fear/phobia, managing pain or preparing yourself for other change just get in touch to find out how I could help you now – lisapryce-jones@outlook.com

Once words have been said, they cannot be taken back, that moment has changed things forever. It is then down to us what we do with those words. We can internalise them, we can accept them as being true, or we can reject them for what they are – words and words alone.
Words do not equate actions, actions do not equate words. We all have choices and choices we must make as we progress in our life. There is no such thing as truth, there are perspectives. We all see things from a slightly different perspective. It is therefore from a place of acceptance that we must base our decisions. Our decisions must be just our decisions. We are all on our life’s path. We cannot please everyone. We do our best. When we are born, we are nurtured, we develop, we grow and, as we make our own path, it is for us to make that choice and those choices as they present themselves.
We cannot look back and blame others for that was right at that moment in time. Perspective is key. We can look backward or look forward the choice is ours. We can embrace or we can reject. But acceptance of whatever has happened is needed. Once you accept something for what it is, it cannot be changed. However, what you can do is then put things in action to move forward. Just letting whatever has happened be and move on to the next important thing.
Remember the time of this Earth is limited. Each and every day counts, each and every day matters, each encounter matters, each connection matters. So, what is your choice today to be? Are you being held back by events, people, places even, or do you choose to cut those ties so that you can move forward, embracing who you want to be, embracing your life goals, aspirations, dreams even. Know that you have the choice. Each and every day the choice is yours – stay stuck or strive and thrive!

Did you know that, according to Dr Gabor Mate, around 90% of people who visit the doctor leave without any formal diagnosis or treatment to truly help them? Often one of the simplest yet most overlooked causes behind fatigue, headaches, poor concentration, and even low mood is dehydration.
💧 Your brain alone uses about 75% of the water in your body.
💧 When you’re even slightly dehydrated, your focus, mood, and energy levels are directly affected.
To get the most benefit from hydrating your body:-
💧 Drink filtered or boiled water throughout your day (avoid plastic bottles where possible).
💧 Listen to your body and drink when you feel thirsty.
💧 With each glass, place a tiny crystal of Celtic sea or Himalayan salt, under your tongue.
💧 When up wake up have a glass or water first then enjoy your favourite cuppa afterwards.
💧 Celtic salt has 82 trace minerals and Himalayan salt has 75. This helps water enter your cells.
💧 Add herbal teas such as chamomile, peppermint, or nettle for variety.
💧 Enjoy proper food including fresh fruits and vegetables, which naturally hydrate and nourish your body.
💧 Make hydration your priority today and moving forward.
💧 Note that many people mistake their body’s need for water as hunger and eat instead and then even overeat.
💧 Be organised and keep filtered/boiled water nearby.
💧 Listen to your body and drink when you feel thirsty.
💧 Notice how your body and mind feels calmer, clearer, and more energised as you stay hydrated.
💧The more hydrated you are the more oxygen that you can breathe in which helps increase your energy levels.
Remember your body is mostly water — so just let it flow, nourish, restore and help to heal you! 💧

We had a wonderful trip recently with our grandchildren to the magical Castell-Coch in Tongwynlais, South Wales. It is such a romantic castle and every time I go there I am mesmerised by the incredible beauty and the detail in the artwork is incredible. Behind every drawing is a story of love – both between the husband and wife that he built the castle for and also the love of nature too. It was interesting to read how the owner was also interested in mysticism too and this is evident in some of the design features such as crystal balls placed on the bed frame. We are so very lucky to have such special historic sites on our doorstep, being cared for so sympathetically, by the organisation Cadw. The restoration is ongoing to dry out the thick stone walls which has been effecting some of the inner walls. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we can walk the around the lovely grounds too.

Monday is a great day to consider your purpose. To evaluate where you are and where you want to go moving forward. It is great to be motivated by completing a tick list on a Monday. But that tick list needs to include things that will truly motivate and inspire you. So, asking “what is my purpose at this moment in time?” can often highlight things that are missing, whether on a personal or professional level.
Each and every day we need purpose. Each and every day we need pleasure. Very often it is the pleasurable things that we do that gives us more motivation to do the more mundane things or things that we find harder to do.
Sometimes things feel insurmountable. Goals seem to far away. But we have to remember that it is those daily steps, those small measures of change, that really matter.
It is our purpose to go with the flow, and to help and connect with those around us. Think of your life as being like a river’s flow – you can either flow with the current, like leaves floating downstream, or you can try to swim upstream. So, what is your choice to be?
We are here on Monday. We have the week ahead of us. So, what is it that you want to focus your attention on? Each and every day we should have our set goals but we should also have things that we are developing – spiritually, improving our knowledge and also pleasurable things too as well as connecting with those around us.
Wishing you a great Monday!

Welcome to Therapy Thursday!
Each Thursday, I’ll be sharing insights into the wide variety of complementary therapies I use — from Hypnotherapy and Healing to Breath Work, CBT, ACT, Havening, and Tapping — explaining how they work and how they can help you live a calmer, healthier, and more balanced life.
My aim is to share my knowledge and increase awareness of the many ways these therapies can support mind, body, and soul.
I’d love to make Therapy Thursday as helpful as possible — so if there’s a particular therapy or certain area (e.g. anxiety/menopause/pain/weight loss etc) you’d like me to talk about in future posts, please comment below or send me a message.
Thanks

Today is a day of reflection. Half the week has gone, and half the week is to come. It is time now to reflect on what you have achieved, no matter how little or how big. Reflection is needed and wanted. When we recognise what we have achieved, what our contribution has been, it can be very powerful in motivating us to move forward to achieve even more. Each and every day is different. Our needs are different. The demands upon us are different. It is for us to determine what we can do. What we can achieve moving forward. It is the process of making these decisions that enables us to consider our purpose moving forward, our role and our responsibilities too.
We all need to contribute, we all need to feel that our contribution is worthwhile. It does not matter what you are doing, what you are contributing, for we all have different skillsets, we are all at different stages of our development and stages of life too. But it is recognising where we are, what we can do, what we have to offer, that enables us to make our choices. Whilst choices, at times, may feel limited there are avenues to pursue should you wish to do so.
We all have responsibilities. It is easy to hand responsibilities and blame even to others, but ultimately, we are all responsible for our life and everything within it. If something is making you feel uncomfortable you need to go within, to reflect, to ask why it feels uncomfortable, what is that inner conflict that is causing the disharmony within you? When you recognise the conflict, that is when you can do something about it by focusing on the opposite. If you are angry focus on things that you love. If you are anxious think about things that bring you joy and peace. Bring your attention back to your heart centre. Love is the highest vibration. By doing things that you love, focusing on your heart centre, by doing acts of love, whether with the spoken word, written word or gesture, one act often leads to another act. These acts all generate chain reactions.
So, again, focus on what your heart tells you is right for you. Know that all challenges can be overcome. There are answers to everything. But sometimes we need to learn lessons and from our hardships that’s where gratitude really does come in. When gratitude comes in the Universe shows us other ways too. Focus on your heart centre again now, think about everything that you are grateful for in your life, and remember the job that you have might not be your dream job, but it is for someone who does not have one. There is always positive when you look for it. Think of the wonderful memories that you have, the opportunities that are there for you and just create in front of you now a vision board of what you want to achieve, all your goals – short, medium and long-term asking the Universe to help you for your highest good.
