Empowering you to become healthier and happier
Empowering you to become healthier and happier

Did you know that how you breathe can transform your health and wellbeing?
Breathing in and out through your nose isn’t just natural — it’s powerful. Nose breathing helps you:
💨 Deliver oxygen more efficiently to your body and brain
💤 Improve sleep and calms your nervous system
❤️ Strengthens your lungs and boosts overall vitality
Yet so many of us breathe through our mouth.
Your breath is the gift of life — simple, constant, and always available. So today, why not take a moment to close your mouth, slow down, and feel the gentle rhythm of your breath flowing through your nose… grounding you in the present moment. Save your mouth just for enjoying your food and chatting too!

Today, 10th October, is World Mental Health Day — let this be a gentle reminder that none of us are ever truly alone, even when life feels overwhelming, and it may feel like it is.
One of the most powerful things we can do for our mental wellbeing is to connect — with others, with nature, and with ourselves.
It doesn’t have to be grand, expensive or complicated:
☕ Perhaps inviting someone in for a cuppa and a chat or meeting in a mutually convenient space.
📞 Reaching out to family or friend who you haven’t spoken to in a while.
💌 Asking for help if you need it, there is such strength in doing so, a problem shared is a problem halved.
🕯️ Or simply take some time just for you — maybe a quiet walk, a few minutes taking calming breaths or a moment of stillness to reset and recharge.
As a Hypnotherapist and Healer, I see every day how powerful connection can be — both connection within ourself and connections with others. When we allow ourselves to slow down, to breathe, and to tune in to our inner world transformation occurs. Hypnotherapy, Healing and Breath Work can help to calm your mind, release emotional tension, and restore balance, allowing you to reconnect with your true self and the peace that already exists within you.
Together, through small acts of kindness, compassion, and awareness, we can all make a big difference — not only in our own lives but in the lives of those around us.
Let’s take a moment today to reach out, connect, listen, and share a little love. Because together, we can make our world a calmer, kinder, and happier place.

As the week draws to a close, why don’t you take a moment to just pause and reflect?
I wonder what has gone well for you this week? Perhaps a particular job completed with extra care, maybe a kind word shared to support a loved one or colleague, or maybe a moment where you helped someone who needed it.
Acknowledge those moments — because they matter.
And as for anything that hasn’t gone quite as planned, gently let it go. Release it with kindness, knowing you did your best with the resources that you had at that moment.
Now, the weekend is here, so it’s time to recharge your energy and nourish your wellbeing:
I wonder what you can do this weekend to reset your mind, body, and spirit?
🍂 Maybe it’s cleaning your home and clearing your space.
🍁 Perhaps tidying the autumn leaves in the garden.
❤️ Visit family or friends.
☕ Enjoying a peaceful walk, a comforting hot drink, or simply allowing yourself to rest and recharge.
🛁 Having a lovely long well-deserved soak in the bath.
Whatever you choose, make it something that fills you with more calmness, light, and gratitude.
Because you deserve it.
Wishing you a restful and re-energising weekend.

“Helping clients to overcome their obstacles and achieve their goals for over a decade”

This week, I’ve been reflecting deeply on the concept of attachment — not just emotional attachment, but how we become attached to things.
While my home appears neat and tidy, I know that every cupboard, drawer, and even the attic is bursting at the seams. Each item once had a purpose, but many no longer do — and yet, I’ve been holding onto them.
So I’ve decided it’s time to let go.
To release what no longer serves me, creating space for new energy, new opportunities, and new beginnings to flow in.
As it’s such an overwhelming (and time-consuming!) task, I’ve made a commitment to removing at least 10 items a week — that’s an incredible 520 items over the course of a year!
I’ve already made my first drop to the charity shop this week, and it felt wonderful. Knowing that those items will be appreciated elsewhere brought a sense of lightness to me and a smile on my face too!
Already I can feel the energy shifting — a sense of renewal, of transformation unfolding. Because as we release the old, we truly embrace the new.
Here’s to transformation — in our homes, our minds, and our hearts — one small step at a time.
What are you going to commit to on this Transformation Thursday?

Breath is the essence of life. It connects body, mind, and spirit — it is the foundation of calmness, healing, and resilience.
I was delighted to see the Oxygen Advantage® method feature in the training of UFC Champion Jiří Procházka, who recently celebrated an incredible victory at UFC 320. Under the guidance of Oxygen Advantage® Master Instructor Rostislav Václavek, Jiří has spent the last three years incorporating advanced breathwork into his training — including nasal breathing, breath-hold sprints, and altitude-simulated practices using the Oxygen Advantage® Sports Mask.
His performance — calm under pressure, precise in action, and composed under fatigue — reflects the deep impact that breath awareness can have on both the body and the mind.
As Jiří himself said:
“Breathing… it’s the essence of life, the essence of the fighter.
We have to work with our breath, with our strength, with our dynamic…
and the last one — the main one — the mental strength.”
Breath-hold training, as developed by Patrick McKeown and the Oxygen Advantage® team, works by lowering oxygen and increasing carbon dioxide levels in the blood. This natural adaptation improves the body’s ability to use oxygen efficiently and strengthens our response to stress — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The benefits include:
✔️ Improved tolerance to CO₂ (reducing breathlessness and anxiety)
✔️ Enhanced stamina and recovery
✔️ Greater focus under pressure
✔️ A calmer, clearer mind
While elite athletes use this method to sharpen performance, the same principles can support anyone seeking balance, better sleep, improved health, or greater peace of mind.
Having completed the Oxygen Advantage® Instructor training in Switzerland earlier this year, I’m so excited to integrate these powerful techniques into my work — alongside Hypnotherapy and Healing — helping clients reconnect with their natural rhythm of breath, restore calm, and unlock the body’s incredible ability to heal.
Whether you’re seeking relaxation, confidence, or physical vitality, breath work offers a bridge between the conscious and the subconscious — between thought and flow.
If you would like to experience 4 transformative healing sessions, as part of my case studies certification, I am offering just 4 clients 4 weekly breath work sessions for just £99. So whether you wish to reduce anxiety/stress, manage pain, sleep better, enhance your mental or physical performance or something else just get in touch as I would be delighted to help you achieve your goals

Today I received my poll card in the post, and it really got me thinking…
In Wales, you can’t buy alcohol or cigarettes until you’re 18. You can’t even get a tattoo. But at 14 and over you are asked to register to vote, ready for your first vote at 16, when you can vote for who runs the country!
Now, don’t get me wrong — I love that young people are being encouraged to get involved in politics. But it does make you smile, doesn’t it? From a holistic point on view we’re telling teenagers their brains aren’t fully developed until their mid-20s, yet somehow, they’re ready to decide national policy before they can order a pint or drive a car on the motorway.
Can’t drink, can’t smoke, can’t even buy fireworks… but sure, help pick the people making the laws about all of it. Brilliant.
There are huge pressures and expectations on teenagers. So many of them now experience anxiety and personally I think this is yet another pressure they do not need to be burdened with so young.
The Guardian, in June 2025, shared results of a study which concluded that 1 in 4 young people have a mental health condition (anxiety, depression and other disorders) which is an increase of over a third in a decade, from 18.9% in 2014 to 25.8% in 2024.
What do you think — is 16 too young to entrust our younger generation with voting (when a lot of adults have difficulty choosing)? Should we be trusting our teens with this level of responsibility when they have so many other responsibilities and challenges?
Oh well…time for a cuppa and a walk to refresh and let go of my unhelpful political related thoughts……wishing you a great day whatever you are doing.
If you or a teenager are experiencing anxiety and would like a complimentary consultation so I can share more with you on how I can help you – just get in touch. I have been helping people for over a decade and would be delighted to help you too – lisapryce-jones@outlook.com
