Transformation Thursday…Letting go of my physical clutter

9th October 2025 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

This week, I’ve been reflecting deeply on the concept of attachment — not just emotional attachment, but how we become attached to things.

While my home appears neat and tidy, I know that every cupboard, drawer, and even the attic is bursting at the seams. Each item once had a purpose, but many no longer do — and yet, I’ve been holding onto them.

So I’ve decided it’s time to let go.

To release what no longer serves me, creating space for new energy, new opportunities, and new beginnings to flow in.

As it’s such an overwhelming (and time-consuming!) task, I’ve made a  commitment to removing at least 10 items a week — that’s an incredible 520 items over the course of a year!

I’ve already made my first drop to the charity shop this week, and it felt wonderful. Knowing that those items will be appreciated elsewhere brought a sense of lightness to me and a smile on my face too!

Already I can feel the energy shifting — a sense of renewal, of transformation unfolding. Because as we release the old, we truly embrace the new.

Here’s to transformation — in our homes, our minds, and our hearts — one small step at a time.

What are you going to commit to on this Transformation Thursday?

Lisa
