Today is World Gratitude Day

21st September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Every day should be World Gratitude Day.  We should be thankful for everything that we have in our lives – the food that we eat, the family and friends we have, our jobs etc.. We should never take anything for granted.  Each day is special and unique and we can never get today back and that is why we have to live in the present moment. By keeping our mind in the present moment we keep our self grounded, we enjoy things far more, it helps us maintain a sense of calmness, it stops us worrying needlessly and it stops us becoming angry.  Each and every day by feeling more grateful, by showing more gratitude for what we do have, it stops us from focussing on what we don’t have.  Because we don’t need a lot of material things although many of us think that we do.  Striving for material wealth … [Read more...]

A few words…Shallow

20th September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

The world is shallow.  People are only looking at what they want to see – what is literally in front of them.  However, now is the time to look at the world on a much deeper level of understanding. There is enough of everything that is needed in the world.  Whether that is food, water, shelter or anything else.  We all need basics to live but we cannot take material items when we pass over to the spirit world.  So why then do so many people become fixated on acquiring more and more wealth? Ego is driving these actions and ego can so easily be changed by developing greater understanding.  Success means different things to different people but collectively we can start to explore what really is the meaning of life and how it can be applied today in modern life.  If we all live a more … [Read more...]

A few words…Circles

12th September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Everything in life revolves in a circle.  The circle of life as it is known.  As we start life when we are born we are at the very beginning, infancy if you like, we learn all of the basics and then, as we learn the basics, we progress each and every day.  We develop new skills and new abilities and as we develop these we are in a constant learning cycle. As we progress into adulthood we are still in this constant learning cycle – as we become parents and as we mature again we are still in that learning cycle - caring, advising and sharing our wisdom. Each and every day should be treated as a new day. A new day where we are open to learning more.  We never get to the point where we know everything because that is not our purpose in life.  Our purpose is to evolve and to grow and to … [Read more...]

A few words…Pathways

11th September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Sometimes in life pathways are straight and other times they can be quite tangential.  Nothing is generally straight forward in life.  There are very often tosses and turns on our pathway and we have to be able to adapt for it is that resilience that helps us to achieve our purpose. We learn lots of skills as we go through life and lots of these skills are adaptable and help us to be able to put all of our efforts and passion into what we are really meant to do. Some people are lucky and know their passion early on but for others they have to wait and it really doesn’t matter when you find your purpose whether early or late. The key issue is that you have found your purpose and once you have found it you can embrace it and move forward with confidence, dedication and … [Read more...]

A few words…Shields

4th September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Shields are used as armour and armour is used in defence.  Defence is used when we feel vulnerable and even violated. War is not pleasant and neither is war of words.  Words can be just as destructive as physical warfare.  Words can hurt over an extensive period of time.  We can say things momentarily in haste maybe but they can have far and reaching consequences. Without realising we carry things in our thoughts, we harbour things and we allow them to impact upon us without realising it.  We all need to find ways to offload such negativity in order that we can focus on what we need to do and want to do. All around us there is negativity. Whether it is the spoken word, the written word, whether it is in person or in different channels it is all equally as impacting and as destructive … [Read more...]

A few words…Tunnels

2nd September 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

The world is full of tunnels. Tunnels through mountains, tunnels under the ground and without tunnels we would be so restricted.  With tunnels we are able to move so much freer and easier.  But sometimes being too mobile isn’t a good thing because when we are too mobile we spread ourselves too thinly, we don’t develop relationships that are close and meaningful always. So perhaps now is the time to embrace those that are closer to you to develop relationships that are much closer to home. For we only truly connect when we invest in time and it has to be quality time. “If only we have time” so many people say.  But you are able to make the time should you wish too prioritising what is really important to you in line with your own personal values. Everyone has the ability to develop … [Read more...]

A few words…Life can be like a plate of beans

28th August 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Life can be like a plate of beans.  When you first look at it all you see is a plate of beans in various sizes sometimes covered in tomato sauce or sometimes drowning in sauce.  Sometimes we need to wash off the sauce so that we can see the genuine beans for what they really are and this is no different in life.  We are all different, we are all unique, we all have life experiences that make us unique.  However, sometimes expectations are forced upon us to think, behave or to feel a certain way but this is wrong because we are all different.

We all come to this earth to learn lessons that have already been decided upon before we come to the earth plane.  We then have experiences through life, we have traumas, we have joys … [Read more...]

A few words…Do you live in the shadows?

26th July 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

We all live in shadows whether we realise it or not.  We live in shadows because we don’t  know any different.  We live in shadows because we listen to what we are told by the powers that be.  However, living in the shadows isn’t always in our favour.  Sometimes we need to be bold, sometimes we need to be brave and speak up for what we believe in. Sometimes it’s easier to hide away in the shadows.  Sometimes it’s easier to just pretend that no-one can see you.  But what does that really achieve?  It doesn’t achieve anything at all because it causes frustration on your part, it causes frustration on a lot of peoples part and the more people that come out of the shadows the more that things will be heard, the more issues that will be raised, the more wrongs that can be corrected.  And … [Read more...]

A few words…Love makes the world go around

18th July 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Love really does make the world go around.  Like a hamster on a wheel or a ferris wheel at a fairground love is predictable – it has highs and it has lows but overall it is overwhelming, it is all consuming, it is so powerful and each and every day we all need love in our lives.  Each and every day we need love to help us to see us through our day, to help us to be the best that we can be, to achieve the goals that we set our self and without this love we can feel empty, we can feel worthless, our self-esteem may be on the floor. We all need love, we need to be wrapped in love so soft, so supportive, just like candyfloss, beautiful baby pink, wrapped in soft candyfloss. Whilst some may say that you don’t need love, you are happy as you are, we all need love.  We need love from our … [Read more...]

A few words…Life and Horses

4th July 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Horses come and go – slow and fast.  Just like life we can live in the slow lane if we choose or we can gallop very fast.  The choice is down to us.  No one has the right to impose feelings of speed upon us because we have our own clock.  We have our own choice, our own ability to do what we feel is right for us.  Time is different for everybody.  No two people have exactly the same amount of time on the earth plane. And it is partly for that reason that some people decide to live more in the fast line, to cram as much as they  can in, because inwardly they realise that they do not have as long on this planet.  Whereas some other people who live life at a far more slow pace inwardly know they can do so as they have longer.  And whether that is a conscious choice or not it is their choice.  … [Read more...]
