Rest in Peace Raven Keyes

On Wednesday 3rd May one of the most respected Reiki practitioners and teachers passed to spirit. Raven Keyes lifetime's work has been to share Reiki across the world and she has been sharing healing energy to patients pre, during and post surgery in the USA for many years. She was also well known for her role in leading a team of healers to help emergency workers following the twin tower bombings and has written several books including The Healing Power of Reiki, The Healing Light of Angels and most recently Medical Reiki. Prior to Raven's passing she was instrumental in the making of a documentary about Reiki and how it can help people's lives. Today is International Thank-You Day which reminds us to be grateful to those that have helped us or improved our life in some way. January is often a good time for reflection, making changes and forming new healthier habits. So what better way to progress into the year by expressing our thanks more, even for the simple things we often take for granted, which can help to make the recipient feel that they are doing something worthwhile, valued and help them know that they are making a difference! Whatever you are doing, whether enjoying a relaxing night in or a busy night out, I hope that you enjoy yourself and that you move into 2023 planning to not just survive but thrive! Life is full of challenges - some years more so than others. Over the last 13 months it's fair to say I've had a few bumps too with losing our 2 beloved dogs and nearly losing both my father and partner, due to unexpected illnesses, but fortunately they both recovered. In additional to offering clients one to one therapy I am delighted that I have taught Reiki throughout 2022, introduced a variety of health and well-being events at Rhiwderin Village Hall and will be teaching hypnotherapy in 2023.
