5* Client Review – Supporting the client before, during and after surgery

I had received a cancer diagnosis. I was upset and fearful. I decided to incorporate complementary therapies alongside traditional Western medicine. I started seeing Lisa for reiki and hypnotherapy. Both therapies were amazing at calming me and helping me to visualise a positive outcome. Lisa was incredibly supportive throughout my cancer journey.
I wanted to do everything I could to help myself from the moment I found the lump. I changed my diet and cut our sugar, alcohol and coffee. I saw Lisa once a week for reiki and hypnotherapy. Both therapies gave me so much strength to face my appointments with the consultant and to stick to my dietary changes. 2 months after first finding the lump I was sent for a bone scan by my consultant. The results confirmed the cancer had not spread and was contained. I believe that positive outcome was supported by hypnotherapy and reiki – through positive visualisations, relaxation and positive healing energy supporting my nervous system and boosting my immune system
Shortly after the scan I underwent a mastectomy. Lisa supported me before, during and after surgery. I requested that Lisa be allowed onto the ward at the hospital to administer reiki before and after my surgery. The staff agreed, which I am so grateful for. I’m also incredibly grateful to Lisa as the reiki she gave helped to calm my nervous system and aide my recovery.
I believe reiki before, during and after any surgery would be incredibly beneficial to any patient.
I continued to see Lisa for regular reiki following my surgery and was able to return to work after about 3 months.

Today it was an absolute pleasure to teach  Liz and Sam the second day of our Reiki First Degree (self-healing) course.  They have both had an amazing transformation over the 21 day cleansing period since day 1 earlier in the month.  We were so lucky to practice our self-healing, and to give each other healing, in the beautiful sunshine too.  David and I are both delighted that they will be both progressing onto Level 2 in 3 months time too.

Reiki Level 1 – First Degree (2 days):

In Reiki Level 1 you will learn how to use Reiki to heal yourself, family and friends. The course comprises both theoretical teaching and hands-on practice. The main aims of the course are to provide you with the fundamental background knowledge of Reiki and give you the ability and the confidence to start to use Reiki healing to improve both your life and also family and friends. The course includes:-

  • A private Reiki treatment by Lisa Pryce-Jones a week prior to the course (value £50).
  • Training – in person with a comprehensive manual.
  • In-person Reiki attunement.
