Today is World Mental Health Day

10th October 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Life is indeed challenging and it is meant to be.  We experience hardships in different forms – the physical form when we have problems with our housing, with lack of money to buy us what we need and there is also mental suffering.

In many ways mental suffering is worse than physical suffering because when there is physical suffering we can see it and we can go about rectifying it as appropriate.  However, when suffering is mental it is invisible in many ways and when it is invisible it is much harder to address.  Very often people are ashamed to talk about it because they feel silly.  However, if it was their leg or arm they would happily talk about it.  We cause ourselves so much hardship by failing to communicate effectively.  A problem shared is a problem halved indeed.  When you have the right people around you they will support you no matter what.

But first we need to be in a position where we are ready to help ourselves.  Sometimes we are drawn to and even stuck in a position where we feel that all we deserve is hardship.  Like attracts like.  But we are able to manifest much more abundance into our life if we are ready and want too.

Abundance of course is not relating to material affluence.  I am talking about the important things that matter – shelter, food, clothing and enough of what we actually need.  If we all go chasing excesses is it really surprising that there is such a wealth divide in the world?

By looking inwardly and asking yourself what you truly need you will establish what are your true values.  As a person we are able to commit to actions then which are in line with our values.  There is so much that we can do to help one another in so many ways.  Humanity needs this…love really does make the world go around.  If bricks were love and stone were mortar then we would never build a house.  Only when each component complements each other will the house be built effectively.

Perhaps you can take a moment today on World Mental health Day to ask yourself what you can do to help both yourself to achieve the life that you want and to also help others to achieve their life too.  There are so many ways that we can help each other.  Whether that is coaching others, giving a non-judgemental ear,  volunteering to help others in need or anything else.

By all working together and understanding each other we are able to make our lives such a better existence.  The time that we have on the Earth plane may not be long so why not make it as memorable and enjoyable for both ourselves and those around us too.    Life is just like a daisy chain…it goes round and round…so let’s be like bright and cheerful daisies.

If you would like help to deal with your issues and start moving towards achieving the life that you want just give me a call now.  I will be delighted to offer you a free 20 minute telephone consultation to discuss your issues and to explain how I  could help you  to achieve the life that you want using Hypnotherapy, Healing and Counselling.

Best wishes

Lisa
