Empowering you to become healthier and happier
Empowering you to become healthier and happier

I am delighted to share that I have had my first article published in the winter edition of the UK Reiki Federation Magazine. The UK Reiki Federation is the largest Reiki organiation in the UK and it sets the highest standard for Reiki. My article focuses on the work that I have led, with a team of wonderful healers, during the pandemic to help both staff and residents at the national disability charity Leonard Cheshire, with the wonderful Reiki healing energy. I hope you enjoy reading it too.
It remains a very challenging time and we are continuing to support people in need including those in Leonard Cheshire homes.
Please find the full article below. I am so grateful for the amazing support by Reiki Masters David Muzzlewhite, June Wilkinson and Dave Parfitt.

I am continuing to work with clients on-line during the pandemic using Zoom so if you would like to chat further to find out how hypnotherapy and healing could help you please get in touch as I would be delighted to help you.

In the UK people who have a disability have much greater barriers to overcome especially with gaining and maintaining employment and achieving independence. The aims of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is to raise awareness and promote understanding of the contribution that disabled persons can bring to the table. In the UK there are over 14 million people with disabilities and it is estimated that 1 in 5 people will be effected by a disability in their lifetime.
In recent years purple has been increasingly been associated with disability and symbolises a new positive statement about the positive impact that disabled people can make both in the workforce and wider community.
Wearing purple can show that we see through the disability to the person – the ability, the potential, the pride and the change that is needed to make our world fairer. Today I have wore purple with pride. Additionally I am especially proud to work with the national disability charity Leonard Cheshire. It has been a privilege during the pandemic to help both staff and residents as a volunteer. We are all vulnerable to change – a simple accident or change in health can result in our situation changing overnight.
As well as caring for severely disabled people in care homes throughout the UK Leonard Cheshire provide support and opportunities to help other disabled people gain qualifications and valuable work experience to help them to contribute to society and feel valued.
There are numerous ways in which you can help – by spreading awareness, volunteering your skills, knowledge and time, fund raising or making a contribution towards specific projects. Hypnotherapist, Healer & Counsellor

During the pandemic I have, on a voluntary basis, been giving staff at the disability charity Leonard Cheshire care homes Hypnotherapy and Healing to help them rise to the challenges they face. Additionally I have been leading a team of Reiki Healers to provide healing to both residents and staff at the care homes in Wales.
In order to raise money towards providing each care home with a lovely cosy relaxing space to receive healing my partner David (who is also one of the Healers) has been making beautiful bird/squirrel tables. We are supplying all of the materials and labour personally so the entire nutty donation of £15 goes directly to this wonderful cause.
If you would like to buy one of these beautiful bird/squirrel benches either as a gift for yourself or as a surprise for someone else please make your contribution on the JustGiving website https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lisa-pryce-jones1 and message me with your address and we will be organise squirreldeliveroo swiftly or collection can be arranged from Rhiwderin, Newport.

There are now 20 of these fully assembled and stained beauties ready and waiting to be put in your garden. Some hedgehog homes and mud kitchens will also be available soon.
Thank you so much for your support.
Lisa & David
