A Good Friday message from the world of spirit…Loneliness

10th April 2020 By Lisa Pryce-Jones

Loneliness is a terrible thing.  We can all feel lonely even in a crowded room.  To be lonely is to be isolated, to be alone, to feel that no one cares, to feel that you do not matter, to feel that your life isn’t worthy, your contribution is irrelevant.  To feel lonely means helplessness. Helplessness equals vulnerability and vulnerability equals despair. We the human race have the capacity to change this.  We can unite by sharing love and compassion.  Love and compassion on a grand scale and by sharing love and compassion on a grand scale we can enable significant change to take place in our world.

We have the ability but choose not to at present.  I talk of the majority of course.  However, the time is coming for change, significant change, because it needs to happen.  Lessons are not being learned and whilst things are extremely difficult and it’s very hard to understand why some people are effected and others aren’t we have to understand that everything happens for a reason.  Everything happens for a reason.  We might not understand that in this lifetime but in due course you will.

The challenges we face are predetermined.  When we come to this life we choose which lessons that we want to learn.  That might be patience, determination, resilience, to name a few.  And through life’s events we end up facing situations that test those particular challenges.  Endurance is often under rated and it is very often the test of our character when we are faced with difficult situations and how we go about overcoming them.  Families and communities can come together to support each other and out of harsh times can come great things. Great things manifest other great things and before you know it huge obstacles are overcome – if you like huge mountains are climbed.  One person alone will find it challenging but the more people that are involved the easier it becomes and our current situation is no different.  It is how we go about it that really matters.

Think of snow-capped mountains.  So beautiful, so simple that represents life.  Snow-capped mountain.  We can walk up the mountain slowly, considerately, thoughtfully, taking care of where we tread and in due course we will arrive at our destiny. We can see everything around us. The view is magnificent and then when we are ready we can make our descent again slowly, carefully, without making any imprints almost as if we haven’t been there at all in fact and that is how it should be for each and every one of us.  For if we choose the simpler easier way more of us can enjoy our world.  But by continuing in the current vain, materialistic, selfish ways we will continue to be challenged, we will continue to suffer on a grand scale and it really doesn’t matter what form this takes – water, fire, or anything else.  Lessons will continue to be needed to be learned time and time again until learning has taken place and action is implemented.  Those in power have choice. Those in power have choice but they are representing the masses.  Choosing wisely is clearly beneficial.  Think of the world now a beautiful planet – vibrant colours all over and as you look at the beautiful bright blue now our seas need to be cleaner, our grass needs to be greener, the sand needs to be softer.  Make your choices. Make them wisely. Live with integrity. Live with love in your heart.  Love with compassion and our world will be a better place.
